Granite Challenge 2020

All Day

It’s time to show us your pedal power and as the name suggests, your strength and durability by joining us for our annual 55 mile charity cycle! Starting in Downpatrick, you will cycle towards Dundrum, through Newcastle then push yourself to climb up into the Mournes passing Spelga Dam, taking in the stunning views on offer.  We finish with an exhilarating downhill sprint towards home, through Bryansford, Maghera and Clough.

An ever-growing event since it’s inception in 2012, it has been praised by experienced cyclists of all abilities. Patrick from Bangor said of the 2019 event: “The route is challenging but is really varied and the craic between everyone on the roads was great.  I would highly recommend it to any experienced cyclist”

Climb the mountain yourself in 2020 and take on The Granite Challenge for Action Mental Health!

Start: Sunday 4th October 2020
