Stand Up Paddle Board Challenge for Action Mental Health

Sunday 5th June 2022 – 11.30am

Connect with nature and enjoy the physical & mental benefits of stand up paddle boarding in the great outdoors. The Basics of SUP will be covered in the class and the aim of each session is to paddle around Strangford Lough learning a new activity whilst maximise your connection with the outdoors. Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) is a form of slow adventure. Therefore, it is the perfect way to switch off from the stresses of every day life. Furthermore, it helps with balance, agility and fitness.

We ask participants for a minimum sponsorship of £100. You will receive a free Action Mental Health t shirt also.

Participants will received a medical & consent form to complete. Please either email this back to [email protected] or bring it with you on the day.

*For water based activities, please note that there are no showers or toilets at the meeting point. We advise you to wear old trainers & swimwear under your clothes, bring a towel, sun protection and water bottle. Wetsuits and Buoyancy Aids are provided.*
