Behind the numbers: The real stories of SkillSET

Funding is at risk for the SkillSET programme – a programme which has had 1,135 participants through Action Mental Health. Of these, 500 people have progressed into employment and 296 gained a qualification1.

Maria began her journey at our Foyle service in January 2025, enrolling on SkillSET as a single parent with a clear ambition — to open her own skin care business.
