Break the Cycle- Dave’s Big Bike Ride for Better Mental Health

Dave Elliot will be cycling nearly 293 miles around Action Mental Health services in NI, in just 3 days from 8th – 10th October for World Mental Health Day.

Dave will be finishing the challenge in Belfast and helping reinforce the message that more funding is required from Government towards mental health services in Northern Ireland.

Action Mental Health ambassador and local comedian Dave Elliot, is taking on an epic cycling challenge this October to raise awareness of Action Mental Health’s vital services. Dave will be cycling across Northern Ireland to different office locations, just in time for World Mental Health Day on the 10th October 2025.

This isn’t going to be an easy challenge for Dave. He is more comfortable on stage than on a bicycle. But as a Dad, he also wants to work on his own fitness and wellbeing.

Dave will be vlogging as he goes the distance, and likely bringing his day job as a stand-up comic along, to give us a laugh on the way.

You can donate directly to Dave’s efforts and support vital mental health services around Northern Ireland, by texting DAVEFIVE or DAVETEN to 70085, or donate online through the link below.

You can also sign up for your own cycle challenge to help support Dave’s effort’s. Full details below.
