Schools Fundraising

Get involved and take action on mental health by fundraising through your school or youth group. Fundraising for Action Mental Health can be a great experience for pupils and help with communication skills, personal development, time and organisational skills as well as team building.

From sports day to bake sales there are lots of activities you could do to raise funds and awareness of mental health. Get in touch with our fundraising team, E: [email protected] or T: 028 9182 8494.

Here are some fundraising ideas:

  1. Get involved with our 5 steps to well-being challenge on World Mental Health Day on Oct 10th
  2. Organise an event, such as a 5k run or a school play.
  3. Hold a bake sale.
  4. Hold a non-uniform day, asking pupils to donate £1.00 to participate.
  5. Host a family fun day with stalls, games and raffles.

We can provide promotional materials such as t-shirts, balloons and banners, and help to promote your activities through local newspapers and social media.

Our MensSana project provides positive mental health and well-being workshops to young people in Northern Ireland. Get in touch to see how we can help.
