Resources for Children and Young People

We’ve gathered useful advice, information and help for young people aged 8-25 and those who care for them across Northern Ireland. We do our best to keep these pages up to date, let us know if any of this information is out of date.

Much of the content came from a project which is now finished – The Northern Area Mental Health Initiative (The Initiative) which was an innovative project led by Cookstown and Western Shores Area Network (CWSAN), in partnership with Action Mental Health (AMH) and Nexus NI. This delivered mental health awareness and resilience training, and internet safety, sexual abuse and exploitation education to children and young people aged 8-25 and their key contacts.
