Fundraise this Children’s Mental Health Week

Recent studies show that 1 in 8 children in Northern Ireland experience emotional difficulties. That’s three children in every classroom.

You can make a difference in the lives of children and young people. Fundraise for Action Mental Health and support vital mental health services.

We’ve compiled a list of ideas to help inspire you. You can fundraise alone, with your family, with your friends or with your school church or community group. However you choose to get involved, every penny you raise will enable us to continue our vital work, providing mental health support to local people who really need it.

Get baking! Pop your aprons on and spend an afternoon in the kitchen together. You could sell your delicious creations, or give them away with an invitation to donate.

Move your bodies. Take on a keepy-uppy challenge, have a mega dance party or run a lap around your local park together. Ask people to cheer you on by making a donation to Action Mental Health.

Have a clear-out. Take the opportunity to clear out those cupboards you’ve been ignoring for too long, and sell what you no longer use. Use an online tool such as Facebook Marketplace and donate the proceeds to Action Mental Health, or go old-school with a Car-boot Sale!

Show off your kids’ art. Have you an artist in your family? Host a little exhibition with donation upon entry, or even consider selling some of those works of art and donate the proceeds.

Sign up to join in with one of our fundraising events. We’ve a lot going on throughout 2024. Let this week inspire you to get involved. Find out more here.
