Get CounsellingAMH New Life Counselling is the counselling service of Action Mental Health. Committed to supporting the emotional health and wellbeing needs of its clients through the provision of counselling. We provide friendly and professional counselling services for children, young people, adults and families.
The service is open to anyone regardless of gender, age (5 years +), religion, sexual orientation, ethnic or cultural background. Our facilities are also designed to promote disabled access and we offer a tailored counselling service for the deaf community.
The counselling team consists of client based teams, namely the under 18’s (OKAY), over 18’s (Adult), Family Team, Postvention team, Casual & Volunteer Teams. In addition, we provide a deaf counselling service delivered by a Level 3 BSL trained practitioner.
Therapeutic approaches include person-centred, integrative, systemic, cognitive behavioural approaches and creative arts therapies (eg. art, play, music, drama).
