Men’s Shed Antrim Open Day

The Men’s Shed in Antrim held a successful open day recently, with plenty of visitors popping in to the service.

The men raised over £600 on the day selling their creations such as garden furniture, and received plenty of orders to keep them busy for the next few weeks!

Special thanks to our visitors Arlene Foster; Paul Girvan; Cllr John Scott, Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council; Cllr Noreen McClelland, Deputy Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council; Cllr Jim Montgomery and Tesco Community Champions Kirsty Corbett and Lesley Kirkpatrick.

Arlene Foster and Paul Girvan also took the opportunity to visit AMH New Horizons and met some of the clients, toured the garden and sat in on a music class.
